RESCUED FARM RESIDENTS

Left Over Llama

A local farm suddenly closed down and the animals are being relocated to Settlers Pond Animal Shelter. Please help us house and feed these animals and get them needed medical care. We are starting to place animals in foster homes. We still need help feeding and caring for these lovely creatures. Please share our need with your friends.

ANIMALS RESCUED FROM HOARDER

PLEASE DONATE TO THEIR CARE NOW!

Hoarded Dog

At least 53 animals were rescued from a hording situation in Steger IL. 27 dogs, 6 puppies, 4 cats, 25 chickens, 1 pony, 2 canaries, a cockatoo and a sun conyer were found living in squalor. These animals are suffering from conditions such as anema, flea infestations, scabies, mange, testicular cancer, mammary cancer, maggots, worms and ear mites. One dog has two broken legs that were not set and healed in a bow-legged position. Another dog has office staples in his head. Yet another has ribs that were broken and healed with the bone sticking out of his side. Some needed blood transfusions on site. The animals were transported to Settler's Pond Animal Shelter.

Once these animals have been treated, allowed to heal, socialized and neutered or spayed, they will be available for adoption. We are in desperate need of donations for treatment, care and the basic necessities.

Remember: Settler's Pond Animal Shelter is a 501C3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.

Click for our Go Fund Me page or click the Donate Button (on the bottom left of this page) to donate via PayPal. All major credit and debit cards accepted.
